I am here to share a simple but elegant wedding of my two close friends, Brendon & Stella. The bride “Stella” and groom “Brendon” first met in my wedding in South Wales when they were both 21. Stella was the chief bridesmaid and Brendon was the best man for my wedding.  I introduced them and they spent time talking, although Brendon was quite drunk so he can’t remember what they actually talked about!

Days passed and they lost contact of each other. One day Stella saw Brendon in a coffee shop along with his mother. Stella was so happy and she told her friend that she likes Brendon. The message was duly passed on and Stella eventually plucked up the courage to speak to Brendon. They kept in touch and met up for dates, alternating between London where Brendon lived and Essex where Stella lived. After so many dates, one rainy evening Brendon proposed Stella with a diamond ring and Stella was as happy as she accepted the proposal of Brendon to get married.

It was Stella’s idea to have a college themed wedding, so Stella hired the services of indianweddingcards.com, to design the wedding invitation cards which looked and felt like note books, and the menu card was designed like an exam paper covering all college subjects, where the winner on each table received a special gift from bride and groom. For wedding Stella tried on a few wedding dresses in London before going to Essex with her close friend Maria.

After visiting about half a dozen bridal shops she eventually chose a White dress by Jason dress and completed her outfit by wearing vintage jewelry and a beautiful gardenia in her hair. Brendon wore a light navy 3-piece suit tailored in Yorkshire by Philips & co. Stella always wanted natural wedding flowers, so she ordered Dahlias with some green foliage and she also ordered conical flasks to use as vases for the table centerpieces to match the college theme.

Brendon arrived at the ceremony in an S-class Mercedes and Stella arrived in a vintage Austin Model: A55 Mark Cambridge and in the same they traveled to the reception venue. Stella & Brendon had a Catholic ceremony in a small church in Stanmore Hill which was attended by 120 guests and close friends. Stella and Brendon went to Bali for two weeks for their honeymoon and also spend time with their family in Leeds for a couple of days before going back to London.
